Courtney received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Health Sciences from Carroll College in Helena, Montana. After working as a medical assistant for an OBGYN clinic, she went on to earn her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Dubuque in lowa. She joined Vascular and Interventional Professionals in 2024.

Courtney is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and licensed in the state of Illinois. She is also certified in both basic and advanced cardiac life support. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA).
