Meghan Strand received her Bachelor of Science degree in Community Health at University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She went on to earn her Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies at DeSales University in Center Valley, PA. Meghan completed an elective rotation in Pediatric Interventional Radiology at Lurie Children’s Hospital. After graduation, Meghan worked at Northwestern Medicine’s Immediate Care Centers, where she provided acute care services to a diverse pediatric, adolescent and adult population.

In 2019, she joined Vascular and Interventional Professionals. She performs various image guided procedures in close partnership with the VIR physicians and strives to provide the highest level of “patient first” care in both the hospital and outpatient setting.

Meghan is a licensed Physician Assistant in Illinois and is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
